Breathe In The Beauty
tailors each tour to your desires, such as tour length, preferred sites, and group size. For the optimal experience, we recommend allowing approximately eight hours for your Bourbon Trail tour, which will take you to three historic distilleries for tours/tasting, lunch, and an optional horse farm tour.
When you contact Travel the Trail
, you’ll work directly with founder Lee Buckner to plan your Bourbon Country tour. Lee can provide invaluable insights as both a Louisville, Kentucky, native, and an Executive Bourbon Steward. As an avid horseman and handicapper, he always recommends taking the extra time to indulge in our guided tour of Kentucky’s horse farms, where you’ll learn more about our state’s proud history of the Thoroughbred industry. During your tour, you’ll be seated in the comfort of Travel the Trail
’s climate-controlled vans guided by an expertly trained tour guide. If you need lodging while you’re in town for your tour, we can recommend many great options in Bardstown, Louisville, and Shelby County.
